Good morning Wake Families, 

Here is some important information regarding divisionals. This meet is where we swim against all four of the teams in our division at the same time for the chance to be crowned the divisional champions! We have won the past two years, so we really need to BRING THE WAKE! 

Everyone who has swam in at least 2 dual meets is eligible to swim at divisionals. If you declared to swim at the Coles Home meet that was canceled due to the storm, that meet counts as one of your meets even though we didn't actually swim. Each swimmer can swim a maximum of 3 individuals and up to 3 relays. Coaches will select both the individual and relays, again trying to maximize our ability to score points. Also, because of the size of this swim meet, we will not have our usual A, B, and C relays. 

This meet will take place at the CFISD Natatorium. This is a larger pool that we will be using as two separate 25 yard pools! We will divide the meet into a "girls" pool and a "boys" pool. This will keep the meet moving quickly and hopefully have us finishing by 2:00 PM or earlier. However, running two separate pools of swimmers causes us to set up the meet a little differently than we normally do, so it is very important you read the directions on how to declare VERY CAREFULLY! 

TO DECLARE FOR DIVISIONALS:
Please declare whether you are attending or not attending the for correct meet on our schedule. If you have a boy swimmer, declare in the 2024 R1 Divisionals Boys Meet on the schedule. If you have a girl swimmer, declare in the 2024 R1 Divisionals Girls Meet on the schedule.  If you already declared, please go back in and redeclare!

EVERYONE will select their volunteer jobs in the 2024 R1 Divisionals Volunteers ONLY link on the schedule.  This link is not open yet, as we are still finalizing the volunteers needed for this large meet.  Caroline, our Volunteer Coordinator will send a separate email outlining the jobs available for divisionals and as well as the timeline on when to sign up for jobs.  Officials, please note that if you do not get selected to officiate, you will be required to chose a different volunteer job.
