Hello and welcome to the Towne Lake Wake 2025 season! Here you will find all the information you need about joining our team and the registration process.

Who Can Join?

For the 2025 season, we are a closed team to families outside of the Towne Lake and Cypress Creek Lakes neighborhoods unless you are a returning 2024 team member. We accept kids ages 4-18 (age is determined by age on May 1) who can be “water-safe”.  We are not a learn-to-swim program.  We do like for kids to have some basic swimming skills before they join, but they do not need to be experts.  Our coaches will work with your swimmer in a group setting and help them improve throughout the course of the season.  

Evaluations

All NEW swimmers to the team ages 8 and under are required to participate in New Swimmer Evaluations on April 16th. 

Refunds

For 2025, there will be NO refunds given after the first week of practice if you decide to drop out. The only exception will be if you do not pass New Swimmer Evaluations, we will refund your registration fee minus a small admin fee. 

Volunteering

Parent Volunteering is a requirement for our team. It takes a small army to run a swim meet, and we need your help! Please plan on completing approximately 6 shifts (exact number to be determined) plus an additional setup/tear down credit if you register for the team. Each shift is approximately half of one swim meet. There will be a penalty fine if you do not complete the volunteering requirement. Registration Dates and Pricing:

Mar 3 – Mar 16: All 2024 team members and NEW Towne Lake residents can register. Prices are $190 for 1^st swimmer, $160 each additional swimmer, and $60 for any 15-18 year old swimmers.

Mar 17 – Mar 30: NEW Cypress Creek Lakes residents can register along with 2024 team members and new Towne Lake residents. Prices are $220 for 1^st swimmer, $190 each additional swimmer, and $60 for any 15-18 year old swimmers.

Mar 31 – Apr 30: Additional 2024 team members and NEW Towne Lake and Cypress Creek Lakes residents can register, space permitting. Prices are $250 for 1^st swimmer, $220 each additional swimmer, and $60 for any 15-18 year old swimmers.

Gear

All swimmers will receive a team t-shirt as part of the registration process. Additional items all swimmers will need: team swimsuit, additional practice swimsuits, swim caps, goggles. Swim caps and all parent spirit gear can be purchased on our Team Store page. Be sure to check it out after registering.

Practice Schedule

Our practice schedule is posted under the Team Info tab. We offer practices 4 days/week knowing that some swimmers are involved in other activities. Do not feel that you have to make all 4 practices.  Just come to as many as you can.

Check out our full schedule of events and swim meets under Upcoming Events. Practices will start April 22nd. Our swim meets run May – June. It is 8 fast and furious weeks - a lot of them hot, some in the air conditioning, ALL of them early. But your kids will have a blast and you will meet some life-long friends and gain a 2^nd family – your “swim family”. We hope to see you at the pool!
